Superhero Anime ‘Tiger & Bunny’ Fetishizes Men with Bootylicious Mousepads
Anime/manga/hentai themed mousepads have been taking advantage of the plush contour of ergonomic mousepads for years to create hyper-sexualized versions of the female form where you can rest your wrists. These Tiger and Bunny mousepads turn this convention on its ear a bit, however, by fetishizing the show’s male protagonists to the max. Here, the superhero team has big butts and they cannot lie. If you’re ready for this jelly, you can check out the full, minimally NSFW (there’s no real nudity) images after the jump.
In concept, adult-branded items like these are a matter of taste. Translating the the generally seinen content of Tiger & Bunny to taboo merchandise isn’t quite fundamentally shocking, since the show is aimed at young adults rather than than teens or kids. Still, if you’ve caught much Tiger & Bunny, you may find seeing the show’s heroes in… compromised positions a little unsettling.
It may be particularly startling to fans of super-hero comics, which almost always reserve their sexualized merchandise (and compromised positions) for female characters. In a comics culture that usually designates fetish-specific fantasies to custom cheesecake sketches at conventions, it’s also interesting to look at the way manga and anime merchandise blurs the line between a franchise’s “true” characterization and fan fantasy.
I’ll be sticking to my laptop’s track pad for now, but you know, to each their own.

Japan just loves ruining the things I like.
this looks fuckin dumb
Unfortunately I’m not surprised by this. The DCnU will be almost 2 years old when ‘Man of Steel’ comes out, so it stands to reason that DC want to remove all traces of the old costume from the public conciousness and how best to do that? put the new costume in a movie.
Strange Worlds
This is the last picture I will draw at the age of 22. I’ll 23 in 10 minutes at time of posting.
Tea+Pen+Paper = Crazy drawing madness involving crudely drawn Dinosaurs.
Thanks to Adam for taking the picture, I’m too lazy to scan it.
0031 - Tim And Conner
I recently re-read Superman/Batman 26 and it reminded me how much fun Tim and Conner were. I kind of effed up on Conner’s face.

3 Weeks until the DCnU, This week saw the Last Issues of Batman and Robin, Red Robin and Detective comics. And it made me sad.
Batman and Robin 26 had been a good book since issue, unfortunately this issue was pretty dire. And I think I know why, it wasn’t supposed to fit in 22pages. This story was suposed to be a multi part story it was obvious from the hectic and rushed pacing, and the reason for the dire ness of the issue is obviously the decision to reboot the universe.
Detective Comics is a comic I hadn’t been reading for a while then I found out that I should be. And I have to say This arc has been fantastic. Here comes the but though The ending looks forward to the future that isn’t going to happen. Scott Snyder is probably one of the best writers in comics right now, and this issue demonstrates why. I have for a while believed there is no way Jim Gordon doesn’t know who batman really is he’s too good of a detective and Snyder teases this fact. The fact Jim Junior knows Dick is batman and that Bruce was isn’t surprising and I don’t think it was meant to be. The art Fit’s the story too a it has a noir feel that suits the batman universe perfectly. It makes me wish there was a Commissioner Gordon ongoing in the DCnU Snyder and Jock were doing it.
Red Robin #26 was a solid issue. Mostly about Tim dealing with his demons and making ‘the right choice’ Of the 3 books it has the most satisfying conclusion, loose ends have been mostly tied up and Tim has reached the end of his Arc as a sidekick and has emerged as a (super)hero of his own making, Bruce but somewhat more cold and calculating. The final page deals with the relationship Bruce and Tim as not just Mentor and pupil but Father and (rebellious) son, and in the end equals. Dick may be wearing the Ears and Cowl (well not any more), but Tim is Batman in red. This is why I hate the DCnU there is so much potential for Red Robin stories because Tim is a going to make a mistake and cross a line he shouldn’t and that is a comic I would love to read. The final Panel and Tim’s determined look it’s a shor reminiscent the enigmatic smile at the end of Buffy. I’d love to see Tim Become the Batman he’s destined to in Teen Titans: The Future Is Now, but that won’t happen because who needs character development when you have pretty wings?
